| About Costas Ioannides (Valentine)Γεννήθηκε την 1η Οκτωβρίου στην Λεμεσό. Αποφοίτησε από το Β’ Γυμνάσιο Αρρένων Λεμεσού το 1969. Από τα μαθητικά του χρόνια έχει δείξει την κλήση του στις καλές τέχνες, παίρνοντας πάντοτε άριστα στη ζωγραφική.
Κέρδισε το πρώτο βραβείο διαγωνισμού ζωγραφικής για το εξώφυλλο του σχολικού περιοδικού Μαθητική Φλόγα που φιλοτέχνησε.
Έζησε για δέκα χρόνια στην Αγγλία και Γαλλία απ’ όπου έχει επηρεαστεί η τεχνοτροπία του και όταν επέστρεψε στη Κύπρο το 1990 άρχισε να ασχολείται περιστασιακά με την γλυπτική.
Από τα μέσα του Ιουλίου 2007 η γλυπτική έγινε η αποκλειστική του ενασχόληση, εκφράζοντας έτσι τον εσωτερικό του κόσμο.
Born on the 1st of October at Limassol, graduates the 2nd High school of Limassol in 1969. Since early the early years at school he showed his interest into the good arts by always performing excellently in art. Was rewarded the first prize on the competition for creating the cover of the school’s magazine “School Flame”. Afterwards he lived ten years in England and France, where he was influenced from. When returned to Cyprus in 1990 he began to occasionally be involved with sculpturing. From the middle of July 2007 sculpturing became his exclusive pastime, expressing through it his internal world.
